2 Restaurants You Have to Try

Miami has been reigning in the culinary scene, and the past couple of months presented some fantastic new restaurants. Here are some spots that made an impression the first time around.

  1. Hachidori Ramen Bar

This Japanese restaurant located in Little River gives comfort food a new meaning. As a starter, I had Umami Sticky Buns (honey miso butter, furikake), which was very different. It was the perfect blend of sweet and savory. Of course, I had to get ramen and chose the OG (Tonkotsu and miso broth, cured pork belly, soft-boiled ajitama, bean sprouts scallions). All I can say is, you'll spend the time slurping your noodles than having a conversation with your friends. With my meal, I had a glass of wine and no dessert.

If you're ready for a gastronomical experience of the belly, Wayku is the place! The restaurant eludes awesome vibes, the food is fantastic, and the cocktails are unbelievable. Everything I had a would 10000% recommend; Aycha Bao Bun, would you believe me if I told you that it was my first time trying a bao bun? I ate through it as if I've never had food (lol), and the Pork Cotoletta with bone, for a second I thought it was chicken and the truffled mashed Andean potatoes was the cherry on top. Make sure to try the Spritz Wayku!
